The Delivery Ready Interactive Checklist

Delivery Ready?

A shipping container delivery requires precision. Use this checklist to ensure your site is ready for our heavy-duty tilt-bed trucks.

01

Measure Your Space

Our trucks need “straight-line” clearance to slide the container off the trailer. If the truck has to turn, it needs even more room.

20ft Containers: Need 60 feet of straight-line clearance.
40ft/45ft Containers: Need 100-120 feet of straight-line clearance.
Width: At least 12 feet of width for the truck and mirrors.
02

Check Vertical Clearance

The biggest cause of failed deliveries is overhead obstructions. The truck bed tilts high into the air during offloading.

Height: Ensure at least 14 feet of overhead clearance.
Obstructions: Look for low-hanging power lines, tree branches, or building eaves.
03

Surface Preparation

A loaded truck can weigh over 30,000 lbs. If the ground is soft, the truck WILL get stuck.

Ground Type: Concrete, asphalt, or compacted gravel is best.
Soft Ground: Avoid wet grass, mud, or loose sand. Delivery will be aborted if the driver deems the ground unsafe.
leveling: Ensure the 4 corners where the container will sit are level to prevent door jamming.
04

Door Orientation

This is critical! Once the container is offloaded, you cannot flip it around easily.

Doors to Cab: Doors will come off the truck LAST.
Doors to Rear: Doors will come off the truck FIRST.

*Inform your logistics coordinator of your preference before the truck leaves the yard.

⚠️ Important Notice

If our driver arrives and cannot complete the delivery due to site issues (mud, lack of space, overhead wires), a Dry Run Fee will be charged. Please double-check your measurements!
